Support for Seniors

Four million Canadians are now over the age of 65, and many of them live right here in Edmonton-Strathcona.

That number is growing rapidly as the baby boomer generation nears retirement age.  As your representative in Parliament, I would work hard to ensure seniors have the highest possible quality of life.

That means accessible and responsive health care, the freedom to stay in the workplace without the loss of federal retirement benefits, tax incentives for home caregivers, tough measures to prevent elder abuse and stricter sentences for those who commit it.
